07/07/2010 - Success in Doha

The first workshop event organised by The School of Coaching/ JMJ at the Diplomatic Club in Doha, Qatar. Myles Downey defined “What is Coaching” in front of an audience of 55 people from various organisations in Doha. He explored the possibilities of what coaching can bring to individuals, their colleagues and organisation through coaching techniques, methods and insights.

Myles enrolled the audience with a number of different practical demonstrations, from ‘The Inner Game’ (Tim Gallwey) allowing participants to experience a state called ‘FLOW’  catching a tennis ball to arm bending with a partner, after which the whole room was energized.

Feedback from the workshop was very positive, people thoroughly enjoyed the event and loved the practical sessions and looked forward to applying what they had learnt from the workshop to develop themselves and others.  Expect to see more from The School of Coaching in Doha and The School of Coaching endeavoring to change the quality of conversations in the workplace.
